Build the 4 x 8 Stoney Creek

Dave Methlie’s layout celebrates the mid-1930s and ’40s in Lancaster County, Pa. The freelanced railroad fits many detailed scenes into its modest 4′ x 8′ space (the size of a sheet of plywood). The scenes include a barn raising and a stone arch bridge over a stream. From benchwork to tracklaying and wiring to detailing key scenes, Dave shows you the techniques that he used to complete this stunning model railroad. Along with the track plan and many color photos, you get a structure list and track wiring diagram. (24 pages, 2.5MB)
