FineScale Modeler January/February 2026

FineScale Modeler launches 2026 with an expanded 2025 IPMS/USA National Convention photo gallery–18 pages of scale modeling glory from the best builders in the U.S. and around the world.

But that’s not all for this monster 76-page issue!

• Master modeler John Maher creates a 1/72 scale late-war Bf 109 that has seen so many repairs it’s a “Frankenschmitt.”
• Karel Sutt rolls out a scale cannon in an unusual artillery how-to.
• Kent Waterson pulls out all the stops to model 1/48 scale OS2U Kingfishers on the quarterdeck of the USS Massachusetts.
• Plus sci-fi bases, a Mercury space capsule, kit reviews, and more!
